Photogrammetric Vision Lab Visit

Dr. Dimitrios Skarlatos’ Photogrammetric Vision Lab following the 2013 “Monument Surveying” course visited the Immersive and Creative Technologies Lab, of Dr. Charalambos Poullis. Research Associates in the lab explained to the students the research projects they undertake and demostrated the use of the in house developed structured light scanner, the ZScan handheld laser scanner. The students also had the opportunity to “dive” on Mazotos shipwreck using the VRCave’s 3D environment and 3D glasses.
