Kyriakos Herakleous has participated in the FP7-PEOPLE: “Rapid Scanning and Automatic 3D Reconstruction of Underwater Sites” project. He has a B.Sc. in Computer Science (University of Cyprus, 2010) and M.A. Interactive Multimedia (Cyprus University of Technology, expected graduation date 2012). His main interests focus the areas of Computer Vision and Computer Graphics.

Aimilia Tzanavari holds a Ph.D. in Human Computer Interaction from the University of Bristol, United Kingdom (2001). She is currently an Associate Professor at the Department of Design & Multimedia, University of Nicosia, Cyprus and a Research Associate at the Immersive and Creative Technologies Lab, Cyprus University of Technology. Among other positions, she has worked as a Special Scientist (2006-2008) and a Visiting Lecturer (2002-2004 and 2005) at the Department of Computer Science, University of Cyprus, Cyprus and as a Visiting Assistant Professor (2001-2002) at Miami University, OH, USA. She conducts research and publishes in the areas of human-computer interaction and e-learning and has served as program committee member and reviewer in various European and International workshops and conferences. She has participated in numerous research projects supported by the European Commission holding research and management positions.

Specialist in Psychometrics, Interaction devices and 3D virtual environments. DPhil from Oxford University in the field of Psychophysics and 3D Graphics. Chris is an Associate Professor in Multimedia at the Department of Design & Multimedia, University of Nicosia and an Adjunct Researcher at the Immersive and Creative Technologies Lab, Cyprus University of Technology. Previously was a member of UCL Virtual Environments and Computer Graphics Group and the Max Planck Institute for Biological Cybernetics, Germany.

Irene Katsouri is a freelance Illustrator and Multimedia designer.

Her research interests include, scientific visualization in VR environments and the use of 3D modeling and computer graphics to aid archaeologists in their post-excavation interpretation and analysis.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in Illustration and a master’s degree in Interactive Multimedia.
